Safety: please read before use

Cold-water immersion is not suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a heart, blood-pressure or breathing condition, a history of fainting, take relevant medication, have recently had surgery, or are unsure whether cold exposure is suitable for you, seek medical advice before use.

Enter and exit carefully, keep your head above water, breathe normally and begin with short sessions. Leave immediately if you feel unwell, faint, dizzy or experience chest pain. Do not dive, jump in, deliberately hyperventilate or hold your breath underwater. Children must be directly supervised by an appropriate adult.

What home-hire options do you offer?
We offer three home-hire options, all with a two-month minimum hire period: Self-Managed Home Hire at £180 per month, Self-Managed + Ozone Unit at £200 per month, and Fully Managed Home Hire at £250 per month. Every option includes delivery, professional setup, handover and collection. Fully managed hire also includes ozone water-care support and a Deep Chill service visit every 14 days.
What is included with self-managed home hire?
Self-managed home hire includes the cold-plunge tub and chiller, delivery, professional setup, a full handover explaining how the equipment works, water-care guidance and collection at the end of the hire. You are responsible for the day-to-day water care, cleaning and checks during the hire, following the Deep Chill Water Care & Safe Use Guide.
What is the Ozone Unit?
The Ozone Unit is an ozone water-care device that helps support water quality between cleans. It is included with the Self-Managed + Ozone Unit and Fully Managed Home Hire options. The Ozone Unit does not replace cleaning, filtration, water checks or the required water-care routine.
What is included with fully managed home hire?
Fully managed hire includes the tub and chiller, ozone water-care support, delivery, professional setup, handover, collection and a Deep Chill service visit every 14 days. A service visit includes water refresh, cleaning, filter and equipment checks. Between visits, customers must keep the tub covered, remove visible debris and follow the guidance provided at handover.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. Deep Chill supplies the agreed tub, chiller, filtration and any included Ozone Unit. All equipment remains the property of Deep Chill.
How does it work?
We deliver and install the cold plunge at your home. Choose Self-Managed and look after the water care yourself, or go Fully Managed and we handle cleaning and maintenance with a visit every 14 days.
Do I need to manage the water?
This depends on the package you choose. Self-managed customers are responsible for the day-to-day water care, cleaning and checks. Fully managed customers receive a Deep Chill service visit every 14 days, but must still keep the tub covered, remove visible debris and contact us if there is any concern about the water or equipment.
Do you use chemicals for home hire?
Follow the water-care guidance provided for your specific hire. Do not add bromine, chlorine, bleach, salts, cleaners, oils, fragrances or other products unless Deep Chill has specifically instructed you to do so.
Can I hire outside your usual service area?
Self-managed home hire may be available in selected extended areas. A one-off £250 extended-area delivery, professional setup, handover and collection fee applies in addition to the monthly hire charge. Fully managed home hire is available only within our usual service area, which includes Horley and surrounding parts of Surrey and West Sussex.
What do I need at my property?
You will need a stable, level and suitable installation area, safe access, water, drainage and an appropriate power supply. You must tell us in advance about stairs, narrow access, parking restrictions or anything else that could affect delivery or setup.
Where can the cold plunge be installed?
A suitable garden, patio, garage or indoor space may be suitable, subject to assessment. The final location must be stable, level, safely accessible and have the required power, water and drainage.
Can I move the tub or chiller after installation?
No. Please do not move, disconnect, open, modify or attempt to repair the equipment. Contact Deep Chill if you need the setup repositioned or if you notice a fault.
How cold does it get?
The chiller allows the water temperature to be adjusted within its operating range. We will explain the controls at handover and help you choose a sensible starting temperature. Temperature changes happen gradually, rather than instantly.
Do I need ice?
No. The chiller is used to cool and maintain the water temperature. Ice is not normally required for home hire.
Does the chiller make noise?
The chiller produces a low operating sound, similar to a small fridge or pump. It should be considered when choosing the installation location.
What is included in the monthly price?
Every package includes the cold-plunge tub, chiller, delivery, professional setup, handover and collection. Self-Managed + Ozone Unit adds ozone water-care support, and Fully Managed includes the ozone unit and a Deep Chill service visit every 14 days. Full details are in our Home Hire Terms & Conditions, and our guide to what ice bath hire costs covers what to compare.
How much electricity and water does it use?
Usage depends on the weather, chosen temperature, insulation, how often the tub is used and your energy tariff. The chiller needs electricity to operate, and water use will depend on the water-care routine and any required water refresh.
Can I cancel or keep the hire longer?
Home hire has an initial two-month minimum period. After that, it continues monthly unless ended in line with the notice period in your agreement. Contact us when you would like to end the hire and we will arrange collection.
What happens if there is an equipment fault?
Stop use if there is an electrical concern, significant leak, loss of circulation, damaged cable or plug, or any doubt about safe operation. Contact Deep Chill promptly. We will assess equipment-related faults and arrange appropriate support, repair or replacement where required.
What is included with Managed Gym Hire?
Managed Gym Hire is £250 per month with a three-month minimum hire period. It includes a cold-plunge tub, chiller, filtration, an Ozone Unit for water-care support, delivery, professional setup, scheduled service visits approximately every two to three weeks, equipment checks, filter changes where required, equipment-fault support and collection at the end of the hire.
What does the Ozone Unit do in a gym setup?
The Ozone Unit helps support water quality between Deep Chill service visits. It does not replace cleaning, filtration, bromine and pH testing, the agreed sanitiser procedure or daily checks.
What is the gym responsible for?
The gym must appoint a responsible person and remains responsible for daily operation between Deep Chill visits. This includes water testing, bromine and pH management, sanitiser procedure, cleaning, filter rinsing, water level, access control, supervision, safe member use and appropriate records.
How often do you visit a gym?
Deep Chill carries out scheduled service checks approximately every two to three weeks. The gym remains responsible for daily care and must close the plunge whenever water quality, safe use or equipment operation is uncertain.
Can a gym use the plunge without daily water testing?
No. Shared-use gym setups require daily water and equipment checks. The gym must follow the agreed water-care procedure and close the plunge if readings are outside the agreed range, the water is cloudy or unusual, circulation is affected, or there is any other safety concern.
What space and facilities does a gym need?
The gym needs a suitable stable installation area, safe access, appropriate flooring protection, ventilation where needed, power, water, drainage and a responsible person to manage the plunge.
Do you cover gyms outside the local area?
Delivery, setup, scheduled servicing and collection are included within 15 miles of Horley. Additional travel charges may apply outside this area.
What types of event do you cover?
We provide cold-plunge setups for gym open days, corporate wellness events, sports events, private occasions, brand activations and agreed promotional partner events.
What is included with standard event hire?
Unless agreed otherwise, standard event hire includes one tub with chiller, delivery, setup, collection, fresh water, up to five hours of use and basic safe-use guidance. The confirmed quotation will set out the final equipment, location, hire period and price.
Do you provide staff during an event?
Not unless this has been agreed separately. After handover, the organiser is responsible for supervising access, managing safe use and following the water-care guidance provided.
Do we need ice for an event?
The chiller cools water gradually. For some event setups, especially where a lower temperature is needed quickly, we may ask the organiser to provide ice. Any ice requirement will be confirmed before the event.
What does a promotional event rate mean?
Promotional rates are available only where Deep Chill has agreed the arrangement in advance. The agreed activity, placement dates, branding and any content or social-media requirements will be confirmed in writing.
Can the cold plunge be hired as a prop?
Yes. Production hire is available for photography, filming, advertising and branded content. If the equipment is supplied as a prop only, nobody may enter the tub unless immersion has been agreed with Deep Chill.
How is production hire priced?
Production hire is quoted individually according to the equipment required, location, access, delivery times, production schedule and whether the cold plunge will be used for immersion. Additional charges may apply for urgent bookings, waiting time, out-of-hours attendance, extended hire, extra mileage or more complex installation.
What do you need from a production?
Please provide the date, location, access details, production schedule, required equipment, whether anyone will enter the water and any special site requirements. The installation area, access to services and final equipment position must be ready or confirmed at the agreed installation time.
How long should I stay in the cold plunge?
Start with a short, comfortable session and build gradually. Follow the guidance provided at handover, breathe normally and leave the water immediately if you feel unwell. Do not push through dizziness, numbness, chest pain or distress.
Can children use the cold plunge?
Anyone under 18 may use the equipment only with appropriate direct adult supervision and where this has been agreed by Deep Chill. The responsible adult must ensure that use is suitable and safe.
What should I do if the water looks or smells unusual?
Stop use immediately. Do not try to guess chemical quantities or add products unless Deep Chill has instructed you to do so. Contact Deep Chill if the water is cloudy, dirty, smells unusual, is contaminated, or if there is any doubt about continued safe use.
What should I do if the chiller stops working or there is a leak?
Stop use and contact Deep Chill promptly. Do not open, repair, modify or disconnect the chiller, hoses, plugs or other equipment yourself.
How do I check availability?
Use the Check Availability form and include your preferred date, postcode, type of hire and any relevant details. We will confirm availability, suitability and the next steps.
