Deep Chill is a trading name of Johanet Eifridt, sole trader.
Deep Chill offers the following private Home Hire packages:
The selected package, equipment, address, start date, payment date and any special arrangements will be stated in the Customer Agreement Form.
All equipment remains the property of Deep Chill.
Self-managed packages are available within Deep Chill’s usual service area and, where agreed, in selected extended areas. Fully Managed Home Hire is available within Deep Chill’s usual service area only.
For addresses outside the usual service area, self-managed hire may be available with a one-off £250 extended-area delivery, professional setup, handover and collection fee, in addition to the monthly hire charge. This fee must be paid before delivery unless Deep Chill agrees otherwise in writing.
The Ozone Unit helps support water quality between cleans. It does not replace cleaning, filtration, water checks or the water-care routine set out in the Water Care & Safe Use Guide.
All Home Hire packages have an initial minimum hire period of two months.
The monthly price is determined by the selected package:
Monthly hire payments are due in advance on the agreed payment date stated in the Customer Agreement Form.
Where applicable, the one-off £250 extended-area delivery, professional setup, handover and collection fee is payable before delivery.
After the initial two-month minimum period, the hire continues monthly unless either party gives at least 30 days’ written notice to end it.
No deposit is currently required unless stated in the Customer Agreement Form.
Electricity, water and reasonable additional costs arising from misuse, avoidable contamination, damage, unauthorised products or failure to follow instructions are not included in the monthly hire charge.
If a payment is overdue, Deep Chill will contact the customer and allow a reasonable opportunity to pay. Deep Chill may require the customer to stop using the equipment, suspend the service or arrange collection if payment remains outstanding.
The customer must complete the Customer Agreement Form before delivery. Deep Chill will provide a copy of the completed agreement and the applicable Terms.
The customer must provide:
Deep Chill may request photographs or inspect the proposed location. Installation may be refused, postponed or changed if the site or available facilities are unsuitable.
Reasonable additional costs may be charged if an agreed visit cannot proceed because access, information or required facilities were not provided. Any charge will reflect the reasonable cost incurred and will be explained where practicable.
The customer must provide accurate information about the intended use, installation area, access, parking restrictions, water, drainage and electricity. For extended-area self-managed hire, delivery, setup, handover and collection arrangements must be agreed before the booking is confirmed.
All supplied equipment remains the property of Deep Chill.
The customer must:
The customer must not move, disconnect, modify, open, repair, lend, sell, sub-hire or relocate the equipment without Deep Chill’s written permission.
The customer must not add bromine, chlorine, bleach, salts, cleaners, oils, fragrances, dyes or any other substance unless Deep Chill has specifically instructed them to do so in writing.
The customer must use the Ozone Unit only as instructed. The Ozone Unit supports water quality but does not remove the customer’s responsibility to follow the applicable water-care and safe-use instructions.
Equipment that requires securing or anchoring must not be used until it has been installed as required.
A responsible adult must supervise the equipment whenever it is being used. The customer must ensure that every permitted user understands the safety instructions.
Anyone under 18 may use the plunge only where this is permitted by the equipment manufacturer and Deep Chill, and with direct adult supervision.
Users must:
Users must not:
Cold-water immersion may not be suitable for everyone. Anyone who is pregnant or has a heart, blood-pressure or breathing condition, a history of fainting, relevant medication or another health concern should obtain appropriate medical advice before use.
The equipment must not be used during strong winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain or other unsafe weather.
The customer must protect outdoor equipment with the appropriate cover as instructed, without covering or restricting the chiller’s required ventilation while it is operating.
The customer must not:
Stop use, disconnect the power only if it is safe to do so, and contact Deep Chill immediately if there is:
All customers must follow the Water Care & Safe Use Guide and must stop use and contact Deep Chill if there is any concern about water quality, contamination, circulation, a leak, electrical safety or continued safe operation.
Self-Managed Home Hire
For Self-Managed Home Hire and Self-Managed Home Hire + Ozone Unit, the customer is responsible for day-to-day water care and cleaning during the hire.
This includes keeping the tub covered when not in use, removing visible debris, monitoring the water’s appearance and smell, operating the chiller and circulation as instructed, and following the water-care routine provided by Deep Chill.
The Ozone Unit may help support water quality between cleans, but it does not guarantee that water will remain suitable for use or replace cleaning, filtration or the required water-care routine.
Deep Chill is not required to carry out scheduled service visits for self-managed hire unless separately agreed in writing.
Fully Managed Home Hire
For Fully Managed Home Hire, Deep Chill normally visits every 14 days. A service visit may include:
The service interval is not a guarantee that the water will remain suitable for exactly 14 days. Between visits, the customer must keep the tub covered, remove visible debris, monitor the water’s appearance and smell, and contact Deep Chill if there is any concern.
Stop Use Immediately
The customer must stop use immediately and contact Deep Chill if:
Deep Chill may charge reasonable and evidenced additional costs where extra cleaning, water replacement, filter replacement, repairs or visits are required because of misuse, avoidable contamination or failure to follow instructions.
The customer will not be charged for fair wear and tear, normal maintenance or a fault for which Deep Chill is responsible.
Deep Chill will inspect, clean and maintain its equipment in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s instructions and will keep appropriate records.
The customer must report faults promptly and must not attempt or arrange repairs.
Deep Chill will use reasonable efforts to investigate and address reported faults. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Deep Chill does not guarantee that replacement equipment will always be immediately available.
The customer may be charged reasonable and evidenced cleaning, repair, replacement or recovery costs where loss or damage results from:
The customer is not responsible for fair wear and tear, inherent defects, normal maintenance or loss or damage caused by Deep Chill’s negligence.
Loss, theft or significant damage must be reported promptly.
The customer may not end the hire during the initial two-month minimum period except where they have a statutory right to do so or Deep Chill agrees otherwise in writing.
After the initial minimum period, either party may end the hire by giving at least 30 days’ written notice.
Deep Chill will arrange collection after the hire ends. The customer remains responsible for reasonable care and security of the equipment until it is collected.
The equipment must be accessible at the agreed collection time. A reasonable additional charge may apply if collection cannot proceed because agreed access was not provided.
Deep Chill may suspend use or collect the equipment before the end of the hire in cases of:
Where reasonably possible, the customer will be given an opportunity to correct the problem first.
If Deep Chill ends the agreement for a reason that is not the customer’s fault, it will refund an appropriate proportion of any prepaid hire charge for the unavailable period.
Where the agreement is entered into online, by telephone, by email or at the customer’s home, the customer has the right to cancel within 14 days after the agreement is entered into, unless an applicable legal exception applies.
To cancel, the customer must make a clear statement by email or post:
The customer may use the Model Cancellation Form at the end of these Terms but is not required to do so.
If the customer asks Deep Chill to deliver, install or begin providing the service during the 14-day cancellation period, that request must be made expressly.
If the customer subsequently cancels during that period, Deep Chill may charge a reasonable proportion for the hire and services properly provided before cancellation, where permitted by law. Deep Chill will arrange collection of its equipment.
Refunds due following a valid cancellation will be made within the period required by law using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Nothing in this section restricts any statutory right to cancel, reject faulty equipment, request repeat performance, obtain a price reduction or pursue another legal remedy.
Deep Chill will:
Deep Chill is not responsible for loss or injury to the extent that it is caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, unauthorised alterations, intoxicated use, unauthorised substances, failure to report a known danger or another matter for which Deep Chill is not legally responsible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:
Neither party will be responsible for a delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside their reasonable control.
If such circumstances materially prevent Deep Chill from providing the service, Deep Chill will discuss rearrangement, an appropriate price adjustment or termination with the customer.
Customers should contact Deep Chill if they are dissatisfied with the equipment or service:
Deep Chill will acknowledge the complaint and try to resolve it fairly within a reasonable period.
This complaints process does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
The customer may not transfer the agreement to another person.
Any special price, service or arrangement must be confirmed in writing.
If one provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with Deep Chill’s Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory rights the customer may have concerning jurisdiction or dispute resolution.
The Customer Agreement Form, these Terms and the Water Care & Safe Use Guide form the agreement between Deep Chill and the customer.
Deep Chill will retain the completed agreement and the applicable versions of these documents as part of its business records.
